Vision 2050 shall be pursued through three broad, overlapping stages — not rigid silos; preparatory work for a later stage may begin earlier when prudent.
Building Capability
Beginning with partner-based Centres of Excellence at Visvesvaraya Technological University and subsequently through other partnerships, VSI shall demonstrate effective models of industry-integrated education, build delivery capability and establish credibility through learner outcomes.
Establishing Independence
VSI shall establish its own five-acre campus in the outskirts of Bengaluru as its institutional headquarters and a permanent centre for education, innovation, entrepreneurship, faculty development and industry collaboration.
Integrated Institution
VSI shall develop a twenty-five-acre integrated campus bringing together advanced technologies, traditional skills, agriculture, entrepreneurship, research, innovation and rural development — a nation-building initiative leading to a Skill University in future.
